TITHING​

When we tithe, we are trusting God with our finances and declaring that He is the source of every good thing in our lives. The reason we give is because God is a giver. His very nature is generosity, and because we’re made in His image, we reflect Him best when we give and steward what He has entrusted to us.

Tithing simply means “the tenth.” The first tenth belongs to God—it is holy and set apart for Him. Bringing our tithe back to God is less about money and more about faith. It’s not about what God wants from you but what He wants for you.

Tithing is training our hearts to trust God at His Word. He gave us the greatest gift—His Son—and in response, we give back to Him.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
